JANAPADA JATRE – 19th August 2023

Mahila Seva Samaja, State Board Primary and High School sections observed the second No bag day on 19th August 2023. The theme of the day showcased the flavours of the rich cultural pride of Karnataka which resides in its folk songs and dances, costumes, cuisine, religious and spiritual philosophies which were depicted in the Janapada Jatre. The Chief Guest Smt.Seetha Guruprasad exponent of Bharatanatyam inaugurated the programme.

       The Chief Guest, Honorable Secretary Smt.Revathi Suresh, Teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents went around the village fair. A colourful extravaganza was presented on the open-stage in the school garden by the students.   

The programme devised with the objectives of preservation and propagation the cultural heritage of Karnataka was well appreciated and enjoyed by all.
