Mahila Seva Samaja celebrated the 75th Republic Day and The Annual Sports Day in its110th year on Jan 26, 2024.
The Secretary of the School Managing Committee, Mrs Revathi Suresh unfurled the National Flag.
The Chief Guest for the Sports Day, Mr Naveen Shetty, Karnataka State Police and National Level Volley Ball Coach, was given the Official Guard of Honour.
He hoisted the School Flag, received the Ceremonial Salute and declared the Sports Meet open and this set the decorum for the Sports Day.
The spectacularMarch-past by the School Band, Scout and Guides, NCC girl Cadets and the School House Groups, the jaw-dropping Gymnastics display, The Lighting of the School Olympic Torch and the “School Olympic Torch Run” by the State Level and National Level Achievers of the School led by Gymnast Prarthana Bhat, the Oath and the Annual Sports Report, were the eye -catching segments of the Sports Day.
The Chief Guest spoke about the significance of discipline, courage, punctuality and the need for efficient management of time, academics and sports as facilitators for securing good employments and identities. He honoured the winners with Medals and Certificates.
The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the Rashtra Geeth – Vande Mataram .
